Mayor Ben is a leopard and stars as the host/narrator of Zoobilee Zoo telling the audience (whom he calls "Zoobaroos") what kind of adventure the Zoobles will have each day. He mostly appears in the beginning and end of each show and sometimes he appears in the middle of a show, and sometimes he meets with the other Zoobles during a show.
He is portrayed by veteran actor Ben Vereen.
